LUBBOCK, TX (PRESS RELEASE) - The 1st annual Paw-A-Thon of 2016 will be held on the campus of Texas Tech University at 9 a.m. on April 30. The event will feature a 5k route that will run through the campus of Texas Tech. The official distance of the race is 3.1 miles. The event is open to anyone who would like to participate. Benefits of the race will go to the Haven Animal Shelter of Lubbock as well as Texas Tech University’s Kinesiology and Sport Management Department.
