The Temecula event will have several rescue groups with adoptable pets looking for their forever homes. There will also be free samples of dog and cat food, giveaways from local vendors, free animal care advice, and fun family-friendly activities. Additionally, guests are encouraged to donate dog and/or cat food at the event, which will be given to a local shelter.

Welcome! We are located in the Temecula Valley on the corner Jefferson and Winchester Road, next to Farmer Boys, about 1 mile from the 15 freeway (I-15), VCA El Rancho is a friendly, comfortable, state of the art , full medical service AAHA accredited veterinary hospital. Our caring and skilled veterinarians provide well pet and sick pet services, for puppies & kittens, adult dogs & cats, and senior pets. Our services include physical exams, vaccines, including weekly Preventative Care vaccine Clinics; spay, neuter, and pet dental care; surgeries, hospitalization, digital x-ray, ultrasound, & laboratory testing. We carry Hill's Science & Prescription Diets, Royal Canin therapeutic pet food, and a variety of treats. We work closely with several local rescue groups and animal shelters including Animal Friends of the Valley (AFV), San Diego Humane Society, Temecula Kennel Club, A.R.K, Boston Buddies, Baja Rescue, and Luxx’s Paw Rescue.

Animal Friends of the Valleys and the cities of Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar and Riverside County have partnered and are offering $5 microchips to pets in these cities and the unicorporated area of Riverside County (serviced by the Wildomar shelter) . AFV and the cities of Temecula & Murrieta have partnered to offer FREE microchips for their pets. This Microchip Special will be available while funds last!

Adopt an animal at the shelter Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Wednesdays we’re open until 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) Special adoption shows are held every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Temecula PETCO, 40474 Winchester Rd. (behind Sears).
In addition, local newspapers feature our "Pet of the Week" photos every Thursday. Watch for adoptable pets each week!
