But animal claws can cause quite extensive damage to floorboards and some other hard surfaces. Also, when it comes to ease of maintenance, you need to consider porosity. For instance if tiles are porous and you don’t clean up blood immediately, it will stain. At the other end of the scale, highly glazed tiles become slippery when wet and can be hazardous for children and for pets. So neither of these options translates to what we consider to be pet friendly floors.

Anyone use anything they love??Whichever laminate floor you choose as your pet-friendly floor, you'll be happy to hear that it's easy to clean. That's the beauty of laminate! Just sweep or vaccum as needed to get rid of pet fur and dirt and clean your floor regularly with products like Bruce Hardwood & Laminate Floor Cleaner. And don't forget to wipe up spills from the dog's water bowl right away! Cleaning up after these messes can definitely be a chore. But when it comes to keeping a clean house with cats as part of your family, you have to consider what you are using to disinfect and polish every surface, from your carpets and furniture to your hardwood and tile floors. Many household cleaning products are loaded with toxic chemicals and artificial fragrances that aren’t good for you and are even more dangerous to your small cat whose body is even less capable of coping with the toxins. Thankfully, though, there are many new products that are eco-friendly, contain natural ingredients, and are pet-safe too. Here are just five of your many options. We only stayed one night this last weekend. Check-in was supposed to be at 3pm, but we appreciate that they gave us an available room, even though we arrived 2 hours early. We had originally booked a single queen bed room at the lowest rate, but they were nice to upgrade us (which I did not know until we got to the room) without extra charge, to a 2 queen bed room facing the pool.

We also bought 2 tickets from La Quinta for the 3pm show at the Legends when we checked in. Ms Katrina at the front desk was very attentive, and asked if we would be using the pool and gave us extra towels before we head to the room.

Our room 3306 was on the 3rd floor, adjoining the Music City Center building, next to Heroes Coffee (which I believe was the old Starbucks). As soon as we were inside the enclosed pool area, we felt very warm from the heated pool, even though it was relatively cold outside. When we opened the door to our room, the décor was just as pictured on their website – blue wall paint and 2 queen beds. The flooring in our room was carpeted instead of wood from the reviews that I have read, but that was fine by us – no funky smell that we could tell. Our room also has a small fridge, coffee maker, iron & ironing board, and plenty of clean towels.
We did use the heated pool, but only briefly, because it was quite dirty (lots of hair all inside the pool). There is also a small gym room by the pool area with a couple of treadmills.

TV has decent number of channels, but just a note (not a negative to us), if you come across some channels that are hazy, such as HBOs, it is because this establishment does not subscribe to HBO channels.

Breakfast was from 7-10am, which was already starting to get crowded around 8am. Breakfast was adequate for us, with cereals & milk, yogurt, toast, biscuits & gravy (we did not see any sausage), hard boiled eggs, waffles, bagels, juice, coffee, and whole apples.

The motel is across from Legends in Concert, and just few steps from Dixie Stampede. Nearby restaurants within walking distance are: Fuddruckers, Subway, and Apple Bee.

All the staff we encountered at this La Quinta motel was very friendly, including the breakfast lady. We would highly recommend this La Quinta in Branson, especially if you are bringing your pet dogs.
