Keri and I corresponded earlier this year, when she asked if I thought the Teafco Argo Petagon carrier might work for Flint, her “tall mini poodle with bigggggg hair and long legs.” I pointed her to my review of it, which she’d already seen, and confirmed that I thought it’d be a good match. Keri said she’d report back, and bless her, this week she did. Turns out that she chose an entirely different carrier, modified it in a fascinating …
Teafco Argo Petagon Airline Approved Pet Carrier & Reviews | Wayfair
Hello, Christie! I’m so sorry for my delay in responding. Your girl sounds like she’s the same size Chloe is, and Chloe travels happily on Southwest in the large SturdiBag. If she’s grown a bit since you wrote, you might consider the large Teafco Argo Petagon, which is a little larger than the large SturdiBag (and we just used it happily on a couple of Southwest flights). Every good wish to you guys!

Hello, Anja — In your shoes, I might consider the large Teafco Argo Petagon carrier — it’s a hair short for your pup, but he’s sounds slender, so I suspect that he’d fit fine, curled up in it (as he likely would be during travel).

Most Recent Picks: As you can see in this photo, the top of the Petascope is solid. I prefer a mesh panel on top, so I can see down into my pet’s carrier — and ideally a panel with a hatch in it, so I can also reach in easily with pats, treats and ice cubes. There are large mesh panels on each long side of the carrier, however, and the door is mesh too, so I have no concerns about ventilation (please note that Teafco also makes the Argo Aero-Pet carrier, which has significantly smaller mesh panels — it’s for tiny pets, but still, I can’t love it). A pink pet carrier like Argo by Teafco Petagon Airline Approved Pet Carrier, Tokyo Pink, Medium will have you and your pet travelling in style.Wonderful reviews! Your reviews were very helpful as I prepare for my first trip with Mocha, a larger than expected shihpoo. I was very excited for this review on the Argo Petagon, but unfortunately (like you’ve noted) it is still out of stock on their website, amazon, and almost every other retailer I googled. I recently contacted Teafco and was told that the large petagon will not be available until the end of October. Until then, I am going to take my chances with the XL Sturdibag. Although Mocha fits tightly into the large, he is a rather long pup.
Thank you for all your great tips & tricks!
